OGDENSBURG — The Ogdensburg Neighborhood Center, which supplies food and other essentials to the area's needy, is anticipating the Christmas season will be its biggest period of demand.

Director Maureen P. Rickett said she expects the center's Christmas care packages list will peak at 200 families. The center's holiday generosity also extends to Morristown, Heuvelton, Lisbon and Waddington.

This year's Christmas package offers a few new additions, including a personal hygiene package with soap, tissues and toilet paper, and a gift certificate from Price Chopper instead of a turkey.

For more information on the Christmas packages, call the center at 393-5561.
