CANTON — Abby Stanton and Casey Capello each scored 14 points to lead the St. Lawrence University women's basketball team to a 70-66 win over SUNY Potsdam in a nonconference game Tuesday.

Katherine Edgerton tossed in 13 points for the Saints (4-0). SUNY Potsdam (1-3) was led by a 25-point performance from Rachel Graf.

DAEMEN 92, SUNY CANTON 49

Bridgette Burke scored 19 points and added 12 rebounds to lead Daemen past the Kangaroos (1-5) in a nonconference game at Clarkson.

Shannon LaFave led SUNY Canton with 16 points, and Heather Lottie tossed in 10.

MEN'S BASKETBALL

KEUKA 85, SUNY CANTON 51

Calvin Logins scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Keuka (2-2) over the Kangaroos in a nonconference game at Clarkson.

Tony Valentin scored 17 points and Deric Alston added 15 for SUNY Canton (1-6).

WOMEN'S HOCKEY

Helen Giroux scored twice as SUNY Plattsburgh (5-0) secured an ECAC Hockey Women's West victory in Potsdam.

Nicky Bougie, Amanda King and Monique Gagner scored for the Bears (3-5, 1-4).
