An Ogdensburg motorist was jailed Monday night after passing a police cruiser while he was drunk, according to state police.
Stewart N. Forney, 23, was charged with driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, reckless driving, unlawful possession of marijuana, speeding and several other traffic infractions, state police said.
Mr. Forney was driving north on Route 68 in the town of Oswegatchie about 9:30 p.m. when he allegedly passed a patrol car in a no-passing zone. Troopers said that he was clocked going 95 mph and that he registered a 0.11 percent blood alcohol content. State law establishes 0.08 percent BAC as the threshold for intoxication.
He was arraigned in Morristown Town Court and sent to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, on $2,500 bail.
Also charged with DWI:
■ Jerry A. Storey, 43, Liverpool, was charged by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies with aggravated DWI at 7:37 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 81 in the town of Adams. He also was charged with driving without a license. Police said his blood alcohol content was 0.27 percent. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or more.
■ Amanda H. Clark, 30, of 511 Elizabeth St., Ogdensburg, also was charged at 5:10 a.m. Thursday with resisting arrest when she was stopped on Route 68 in the town of Oswegatchie, state police said. She refused a breath test, troopers said.
She was arraigned in Morristown Town Court and sent to St. Lawrence County jail, on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.
■ Darsi H. Rutland, 44, Pulaski, also was charged by state police at 2:50 a.m. Tuesday with failure to keep right on Route 3 in the town of Richland. Police said she had a breath test reading of 0.12 percent BAC.
■ Tracy A. Sears, 40, of 600 S. Washington St., Carthage, was arrested by Carthage police at 10:40 p.m. Nov. 20 at Brown and North Mechanic streets in the village, and also faces two stop sign infractions. She tested at 0.12 percent BAC, police said.
■ Scott A. Meisch, 21, of 41529 Farrell St., Clayton, faces additional counts of driving while under the influence of drugs, failure to keep right and crossing hazard markings as a result of his arrest by state police about 3 a.m. Wednesday on Route 12 in the town of Orleans. Police said his BAC was 0.12 percent.
■ Penny R. Eldridge, 24, of 7 Oxford St., Carthage, was charged by Watertown police at 12:36 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of Sterling Street. She also was charged with failure to signal a turn. Police said her BAC was 0.16 percent.
■ Myles E. Babcock, 28, Birmingham, Ala., was charged by Watertown police at 2:15 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of Public Square. He also was charged with making an unsafe lane change. Police said his BAC was 0.16 percent.
■ Gabriel A. Lines, 30, of 16583 Evans Road, Dexter, was charged at 9:29 p.m. Wednesday by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies while driving southeast on Route 3 in the town of Housnfield and was accused of having a blood alcohol content of 0.14 percent.
■ Maria P. Yaromich, 22, of 845 Starbuck Ave., Apt. 1605, was charged by Watertown police at 1:01 a.m. Thursday in the 700 block of State Street. She also was charged with refusing a breath test and speeding. Police said her BAC was 0.14 percent.
■ Sarah E. Lyndaker, 22, of 9015 Route 26, Lowville, was charged with aggravated DWI by Lewis County sheriff's deputies at 3:04 a.m. Thursday on Fairview Drive in Lowville. Ms. Lyndaker allegedly almost hit a deputy who was exiting his vehicle on North State Street prior to the traffic stop.
■ Krystal A. White, 26, Norwood, also was charged Thursday with speeding, moving from lane unsafely and having a bad exhaust when she was stopped on Route 56 in the village of Norwood, state police said. Her blood alcohol content wasn't available.
■ Timothy J. Phillips, 41, Star Lake, was charged Thursday with felony DWI when stopped on Young Street in the town of Fine, state police said. He refused a breath test, troopers said.
