PULASKI — Devin Coon knocked in the winning goal 1 minute into overtime as the Ontario Bay boys hockey team won its season opener, 4-3, over Hamilton at the Ontario Bay Thanksgiving Tournament on Friday.
Tyler Decker led the Storm, which plays against Corcoran at 4:30 p.m. today in the championship game, with two goals and an assist. Easton Osborn also scored for Ontario Bay, which buried three unanswered goals to erase a two-goal deficit. One of Cal Longley's two assists was on the game-winner.
Justin Geddings made 22 saves for the Storm.
Alex Brink scored twice for Hamilton, which faces IHC in the 2 p.m. consolation game.
CORCORAN 11, IHC 0
Edmund Cathers generated three goals and one assist to help power the Cougars to a decisive victory in a first-round game of the Ontario Bay Thanksgiving Tournament.
The matchup also counted as a Section 3 Division II West game and was the season opener for both teams.
James Cathers contributed two goals and four assists, and Cree Cathers scored twice. Jason Frier made nine saves for Corcoran.

Matt Clifford accounted for two goals and one assist as Williamsville North captured a first-round game of the Williamsville Tournament.

Freshman Alyssa Crosby accounted for 27 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals to help guide the Red Devils to a victory in the first round of the Morristown Tournament.
Melinda Jenne pitched in with 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Chelsea Milsap scored 10 points and distributed five assists, and Courtney Whalen grabbed eight rebounds for Hammond (1-0).
Joan Rhone scored nine points to lead LaFargeville (0-2).

Freshman Gabby Marshall poured in 21 points to launch the Green Rockets to a first-round win in their own tournament.
Kate Porter added 14 points and three steals for Morristown (1-1). Chelsea Huyck scored 10 for Colton-Pierrepont (0-1).

Taylor Elsner and Brady Condlin each produced 13 points to help boost the Red Raiders to an overtime victory in a first-round game of the Norwich Tournament.
