Charles Shaffer Jr., 79, Massena

MASSENA — Mr. Charles Shaffer Jr., 79, of 203 East Hatfield Street, Massena, passed away Monday morning (Nov. 30, 2009) at Massena Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient since Nov. 23, 2009.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at noon at the East Canaan Cemetery, South Canaan, Pa., with Pastor Mary Bryant officiating.

Local arrangements are with the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, and arrangements in Pennsylvania are with the Hessling Funeral Home, Honesdale, Pa.
