Steve Zalewski has been called up to the San Jose Sharks for the second time this season as he was recalled on Wednesday.

He ranked second in scoring on San Jose's American Hockey League affiliate, Worcester, and played two games with the Sharks earlier this season.

Zalewski was one of the candidates for the AHL Player of the Month for November.

Former SUNY Potsdam player Chris Lee made his NHL debut recently with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Lee, a 29-year-old defenseman, was playing for Pittsburgh's AHL affiliate in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and led the team's defensemen with 15 points. He played at SUNY Potsdam from 2000-04.
