Drum soldier's Iraq death is under investigation

A Fort Drum soldier died Friday from injuries suffered in a non-combat related incident in Iraq, the Department of Defense announced today.

Pfc. Michael A. Rogers, 23, of White Sulphur Springs, Mont., died at Forward Operating Base Hammer, east of Baghdad. He was assigned to the 210th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division.

The circumstances of his death are under investigation.
