Lisa M. Chisholm

Lisa M. Chisholm, age 45, of 159 S. Mercer Street, Greenville, Pa., passed away at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at the UPMC- Horizon Greenville surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Watertown, NY, on June 7, 1964, a daughter of Virgil and Carole (Kuhl) Widrick. On April 26, 1986, she married Steven P. Chisholm, who survives. Lisa had been employed by the former Jerome's Florist, had been employed as a switch board operator at UPMC- Horizon, Greenville and had worked at Pizza Hut, Greenville. Lisa was a devoted mother and wife and an avid supporter of her sons in the various sports they had participated.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 sons, Joshua W. Chisholm and Conner P. Chisholm, both of Greenville; her parents, Virgil and Carole Widrick, Croghan, NY; a sister, Brenda Sportello and her husband, Larry, Newport, NY; 5 brothers, Bruce Widrick and his wife, Patty, Watertown, NY, Brian Widrick and his wife, Laura, Lowville, NY, Lynn Widrick and his wife, Kathie, Croghan, NY, Kevin Widrick and his companion, Sharon, Lowville, NY, and Dean Widrick and his wife, Kimberly, Cary, NC.

She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents and a brother-in-law, Timmy Hudson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home, Ltd. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville, Pa. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00- 7:00 p.m. The online guest register may be signed at www.rlsfh.com.
