Hoffman is respected, sincere, accomplished

In the Nov. 15 edition of Sunday Weekly there was an article on Dede Scozzafava, authored by Jason Horowitz of the Washington Post, in which she is quoted as saying the Conservative newcomer accountant "had no integrity." That is a pretty caustic and irrational statement to make about a genuine, sincere human being who is a respected and successful businessman.

Further, the fact that this "newcomer" who hails from the far northern part of the 23rd Congressional District could meet with the success he did in the southern part of the district is truly phenomenal and a clear indication that Ms. Scozzafava did not have the support of her party. It is unfortunate it took the National Republican Committee so long to lend support to the "real" Republican.
