Watertown Savings Bank came away Tuesday as the owner of a town of Pamelia property sold at foreclosure auction.

The bank foreclosed in May on Mahar Partnership LLC, Heathrow, Fla., owner of the 3.6- acre parcel at 24685 Route 37. The property has North Country Farms Inc. and Jreck Subs Inc. as tenants.

Mark R. Lavarnway, executive vice president and commercial loan officer with the bank, said the bank bid what was owed on the property's mortgage, or about $525,000, and is "actively working with other interested parties to buy or lease the building."

Mahar was owned until recently by Seaway Valley Capital Corp., Gouverneur, although an agreement was reached in mid-October to sell the company to Route 37 Ventures LLC, which did not submit a bid at the public auction.
