HEUVELTON — Dylan Amo generated 22 of his 27 points in the first half as the Hermon-DeKalb boys basketball team rolled to a 68-48 win over Heuvelton in a Northern Athletic Conference West Division game Thursday.
The Demons (1-1 overall, 1-0 league) ran out to a 38-24 lead and never looked back. Amo also chipped in six steals and three assists. Jon Peters added 14 points for Hermon-DeKalb.
David Putman, Zach Limoges and Trevor Brothers each scored 11 points for Heuvelton (1-1, 0-1).

Billy LaBounty tallied 15 points and Steve Brown, Ryan Susice, and Taylor Artus each scored eight points to pace the Saints (1-1, 1-0) to an East Division victory over the Colts in Colton.

Marissa Cook scored 10 points for Chateaugay (0-1).

Cody Cleveland recorded a 26-second pin over Mike Crowley at 171 pounds to give the Golden Bears a come-from behind win over the Blue Devils in a Northern Athletic Conference match in Ogdensburg.
Canton (1-1) received pins from Hans Kuno (119 pounds), Dillon Woodruff (135) and Ed Foote (145). OFA (0-2) pins came from Josh Heaton (130), Andrew Cole (140) and Nevin Parish (150).
