Man indicted after intrusion

CANTON — A Hannawa Falls man was indicted by a St. Lawrence County grand jury for reportedly entering a woman's town of Potsdam home Aug. 1 while she was showering and attempting to join her.

Martin P. Johnson,29, was indicted Thursday on second-degree burglary and second-degree burglary as a sexually motivated felony.

The grand jury also returned an indictment againstRebecca A. Cloutier,26, of 91 Kingsley Road. She was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

She is accused of stealing a check June 25 from Deborah A. Cloutier and cashing it at SeaComm Federal Credit Union in the village of Massena.
