Massena
Receives honor: Lindsey Helmer Hazelton,Jamesville, was recently selected as a 2009 Greater Syracuse 40 Under 40. Mrs. Hazelton, a partner with Hancock & Estabrook, LLP, Syracuse, was honored at a luncheon on Nov. 12 at the Oncenter, Syracuse. She represents management clients and previously served on the board of directors for Enable, Syracuse, and Cornell Alumni Association of Central New York, Syracuse. Mrs. Hazelton lives in Jamesville with her husband, David, and two sons. She is the daughter of Bill and Noreen Helmer, Massena.
Potsdam
Honored:Michele Leroux, Potsdam,director of Potsdam Physical Therapy, was employee of the month of November at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam. Ms. Leroux, who started at CPH in 2008, has worked to streamline multiple hospital procedures and implemented the joint replacement class, that ensures patients become familiar with their recovery treatment plan prior to surgery. In addition to the honor, she received a dish garden, designated parking space and Potsdam gift certificates.
