A couple weeks ago I gave you the 10-best non-Christmas holiday films. Here are my choices to watch this holiday season. Yes, almost all deal with Christmas, but as close followers of the Film Fan know, I only list movies I have seen, and I have seen a lot of Christmas-themed movies.

10. Home Alone - I bet you thought this whole list was going to be all "Frosty the Snowman" and other such nonsense. Wrong! "Home Alone" is a great Christmas-themed movie.

-

9. Bad Santa - I don't think I've laughed so hard in a movie as when we found out the child's name.

-

8. Edward Scissorhands - This movie isn't for everyone. It's Tim Burton. It's weird. It's Johnny Depp. It's weird. But I love it nonetheless.

-

7. A Christmas Carol - Here is the first on my list that is truly a classic. This is the first one... the one we all remember. This is not the Jim Carrey version.

-

6. Miracle on 34th Street - It's just a good movie. Shut up if you think it's cheesy and stupid.

-

5. Charlie Brown Christmas - Another classic. I have not only seen this movie, but watched the live stage play. Yeah, Charlie Brown rocks.

-

4. How the Grinch Stole Christmas - The Jim Carrey version is also quite good. I've included both trailers.

-

3. The Nightmare Before Christmas - Here is another classic, in my opinion, which is being re-released soon in 3-D.

-

2. It's a Wonderful Life - Cry, weep, and rejoice. Christmas can't be enjoyed without this.

-

1. Rudolph - My mother calls me every year the first time she sees Rudolph on TV. She says, "Dan! Dan! It's Rudolph! Christmas is coming, Dan."
