CANTON — Lisa M. Peacock, 41 of 6 Tallman Road in Canton died unexpectedly on Dec. 18,2009 at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center.
A memorial Service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 23rd, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Canton, with Rev. Michael P. Catanzaro officiating. Contributions may be made in her memory to The First Presbyterian Church, Park Place, Canton, N.Y. 13617 or The Claxton-Hepburn Foundation, King Street, Ogdensburg, N.Y., 13669. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Norwood in the Spring.
Surviving are her husband Matthew, of Canton, 5 daughters Ashley Elliott, Katie Dawley, Emily Dawley, Amanda Peacock and Maria Peacock all of Canton,
Her parents Terry and Kathy Todd, Canton, a brother Justin Todd, Potsdam, a sister and brother-in-law Lindsey and Eric White, Canton, a granddaughter, Madelyn Varney, Canton and her mother-in-law Jane Peacock, Norwood.
Mrs. Peacock was born February 18, 1968 in Buffalo, New York the daughter of Terry and Kathleen Ann Goolden Todd. She graduated from Canton High School in 1986 and went on to graduate from SUNY Canton in 1991 with an Associates Degree in Nursing.
Mrs. Peacock worked as a registered nurse at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center for nearly 20 years and also as a traveling R.N. for 2 years.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Canton and enjoyed horseback riding, flying with her husband Matt in his plane. She also enjoyed running marathons, having completed 22 and was attempting to complete one in each state.
