Edward J. McArdle, 79, Lowville, formerly of Ovid

LOWVILLE — Edward J. McArdle, formerly of Ovid, passed away Lewis County General Hospital Residential Health Care Facility, Lowville, on Sunday, December 20, 2009 at the age of 79.

The family received friends and a Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Ovid, New York. Prayers of committal followed in Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions in Edward’s name be directed to the Lewis County Friends of Hospice, PO Box 266, Lowville, NY 13367 or the American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Rd. North, Rochester, NY 14609.
