CANTON — Tressa Goolden scored 13 points as Canton opened the Don Petty Memorial Tournament with a 42-26 victory over Norwood-Norfolk on Tuesday.
The game also served as a Northern Athletic Conference Central Division game.
Kacie Wentorth added nine points for Canton, which will take on Hermon-DeKalb in the championship game tonight.
For Norwood-Norfolk, Emily Cotey scored 10 points.

Rochelle Whitton and Brianna Sayer each scored 13 points to lead Hermon-DeKalb past Edwards-Knox in the other semifinal at Canton.

Elissa St. Germain delivered a 21-point, 18-rebound performance, and Lindsay Drummond tallied 16 points and nine rebounds to lead the Blue Devils to the Central Division victory at Ogdensburg.

Evans also produced eight steals, while Molly McCuin added 17 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots. Autumn Irwin contributed eight rebounds and five steals.
For the Colts, Chelsea Huyek and Tara Hennessy each scored eight points.
