Evelyn C. Beck, 94, Lowville, formerly of Lyons Falls

LYONS FALLS — Evelyn C. Beck, 94, formerly of High Falls Apts., Lyons Falls, passed away on December 24, 2009, at Lewis County Residential Health Care Facility, where she had resided since November 2007.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 AM on December 29 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Lyons Falls, with Father Stephen Rocker, nephew, officiating. Calling hours will be on December 28 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at Callaghan Funeral Home, Port Leyden. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Port Leyden, in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Catholic Church, McAlpine Street, Lyons Falls 13368; Friends of Lewis County Hospice, P.O.
