Clarkson earns victory over Rochester in OT

ROCHESTER — Brandon Linton produced 15 points to help lift Clarkson University to a 66-63 overtime victory over the University of Rochester on Monday.

It was the Golden Knights' first win against Rochester since the 1982-83 season.

Elson Pickering supplied 13 points, including a 3-pointer near the end of regulation to send the game into overtime. Keith Murray and Felix Llanos added 12 points apiece. Llanos dropped in a pair of free throws in the final minute to seal the win for Clarkson (5-2).

Bill Serle generated a game-high 21 points for Rochester (7-2).
