DEKALB JUNCTION — Jon Peters generated 22 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as Hermon-DeKalb held off Harrisville for a 74-59 boys basketball victory Monday to remain unbeaten in the Northern Athletic Conference West Division.
Dylan Amo scored 12 points, and Chris Wentzell added 12 points, five steals and four rebounds for the Demons (9-1 overall, 7-0 league), who took control with a 30-7 third quarter. Logan Allen added seven rebounds.
Colin Baker hit four 3-pointers and finished with 18 points for Harrisville (5-4, 5-2), which led by four at halftime. Jason Thomas scored 16 points and Gavin Kiggins 12.

David Bullock tallied 15 points, grabbed nine rebounds and collected three steals, and Jon Davison added 15 points, six rebounds and six steals to pace the Cougars over the Eagles.

Morristown's Liz Whalen hit her second of two free throws with no time left in regulation to send the game into overtime, and the senior forward finished with seven overtime points to give the Rockets the double overtime win over Lisbon in a West Division game.
Both teams were deadlocked at 41-41 after first overtime and Morristown outscored Lisbon 13-7 in the second. Amanda Bertrand and Clair Plummer each scored four points in the extra sessions.
Whalen finished with 12 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for the Rockets. Amanda Bertrand scored 12 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Plummer chipped in 14 points and seven rebounds while Marshall finished with 12 points. Porter collected 11 assists.
