Third period notes
Goal Drewiske SHORT HANDED
Dewey's score was the first of his career for St. Lawrence.
Goal Dewey - tipped in off the crossbar, 2:06
Penalty killed
Brown has only taken three shots on six power plays.

Second period impressions
Both teams definitely came out looking a little more energized in the second period. The Saints scored twice, including a power-play goal. Vermeulen picked up another assist on the power play. He has two points tonight. Curran, Hughes and Drewiske have each scored.
The third period is shaping up to be another exciting end. St. Lawrence has dominated this game statistically, but is only up by a goal. Brown will start the third on a power play with Bollig in the box.
St. Lawrence needs to keep its head on here or they could get in trouble with the penalty kill. Already, the Saints have seven penalties resulting in six power-play opportunities. While Brown came in at 13.7 percent, giving them six man-ups is not advised.
Tisi is still playing well. The goal Brown scored was on a laser pass from behind the net. Zolnierczyk didn't have to do much but put his stick on it.
Second period notes
Bollig elbow to the head, and now heads to the box.
Goal Brown Timberlake to Zolnierczyk. Guy went five-hole on Teese, 18:08
Tisi is playing well in net again for the Saints. He hasn't had to make a ton of saves, but that ones he has made have been excellent.
Penalty killed
Powerplay coming for the Saints.
Goal Drewiske, 14:07 backhanded over the left shoulder
Penalty killed. Brown barely had a shot on goal.
Raley to the box for yanking on Brown's facemask
Saints injury - Pete Child. Putting no pressure on his right leg. He's in a lot of pain.
Goal George Hughe, 6:05 (pp)
Interference call against Brown Devin Timberlake.
Brown has come out with a little more fire, but still can't get the shots. Saints can't jam home a free puck in front of the net.
Penalty killed. McKenzie had a nice shot, but other than that, no real chances.

First period impressions
St. Lawrence will have a 1:19 power play to open the second. Things got a little sloppy for the Saints at the end of the first period, giving up a goal that looked in slow-motion. The Saints have clearly controlled this game from the start, but Brown snuck one in. There have been a lot of penalties already, which makes it hard to get any sort of real flow to the game. St. Lawrence had five penalties called, while Brown had four.
Brown is starting to get fired up emotionally, while the Saints are staying calmer than usual. I would imagine coach Marsh is not too pleased with the execution in the first period. There were several chances that St. Lawrence didn't capitalize on, including 3.5 power plays.
First period notes
Goal Brown Sean McMonagle
Brown's power play coming in was only 13.7 percent. It's not getting any better. So far the Bears are 0 for 4.
Drewiske to the box for running into the goalie. Fans don't like it, thought maybe he was forced.
Penalty killed - a missed opportunity there. St. Lawrence had a few good looks, but couldn't convert.
SLU power play - Wolff in the box
Penalty killed. Curran had a shot at a short-handed goal but missed.
Cunningham another penalty - hooking.
Penalty killed. St. Lawrence is pretty easily controlling the pace of this game.
Penalty against SLU - Matt Raley - Tripping
Cunningham coming out of the box was one-on-one with Rosen, but Rosen makes the stop.
What a drastic difference from the Cornell game. Brown seems much more a finesse team (if you can call them that) than physical.
SLU giv es up a power play with Cunnignham headed to the box. Will be 4-on-4 for 90 seconds.
That didn't take long. A nice feed from Vermeulen.
Goal Alex Curran, 1:29

I will not have video tonight.
Just got to the rink and I have some very good news. Both Mark Armstrong and Aaron Bogosian are listed in the lineup tonight. Bogosian is starting in place of Kyle Flanagan on the first line with Jeremiah Cunningham and Mike McKenzie.
Derek Keller and Jeff Caister are the starting defensemen. Jared Keller is not listed in the lineup and rumors are starting to swirl about a possible medical redshirt. I'll try to find out more during practice this week about his status for the rest of the season.
Kain Tisi is again between the pipes for the Saints. The senior has started seven straight, going 3-2-2 over that span. He was the Goalie of the Week according to the ECAC coaches.
The Brown starters are:
Harry Zolnierczyk, Jack Maclellan and Bobby Farnham
The defensmen: Sean McMonagle, Jeff Buvinow
In net: Dan Rosen (0-1-0, 7.20 GAA)
