St. Lawrence goalie Kain Tisi is on the cusp of rewriting some of the school's goalie record books.
First, let's look at his career:
Tisi has played in 35 games in his four season at St. Lawrence. I am not sure of the required minimum for a goalie to be considered for career marks and will find out this week.
In 35 games, he has produced a 2.40 goals against average. The career record is 2.55 by Bill Sloan from 1952-56. Interestingly, Alex Petizian (80 games) has a 2.54 career GAA. He certainly qualifies and is the current career leader.
Tisi has a .910 save percentage for his career. The career record is .920 by Eric Heffler from 1995-1999.
He isn't close in any of the longevity records or cumulative due to his relative lack of games.

Now let's look at this season, one in which he earned the everyday starting job and has held it for the last eight games.
Tisi has been the ECAC Goalie of the Week the last two weeks with good reason. He amassed 70 saves in the two games against Yale and Brown. He made 40 stops against Yale, matching a career high.
His current GAA is 1.99. The previous season low is 2.09 by Derek Gustafson in the 1999-2000 season. Gustafson left SLU after that season to play professional hockey with Minnesota Wild.
Tisi is slightly behind the season save percentage record held by Gustafson (.936), but could get there if he continues this play. Tisi finished the weekend with a .930 season save percentage.
