The board of directors of Empire State Development Corp. approved a Restore New York Program grant for Jefferson County during its meeting Thursday. The grant was announced Sept. 2.
The riverwalk in Clayton will receive $1,203,354 toward renovating two buildings.
The former Golden Anchor site will be cleared of the remaining foundation and prepared for the construction of a 14,000-square-foot mixed-use structure.
In addition, the R.J. Marine facility will undergo rehabilitation for the creation of new marine support offices.
The total project cost is $2,360,200.
