Pro Hockey Notes (Europe +)

The ECHL All-Star Game was played last Wednesday before a crowd of 7,615 at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif., and Clarkson was represented with two starters for the National Conference.

Bakersfield's Shawn Weller was the captain of the squad, which lost 10-9 to the American Conference, and one of his linemates was Stockton's Chris D'Alvise. The two, who were two years apart at Clarkson, were teammates but never played on the same line as Golden Knights.

Both players had assists in the game.

Here D'Alvise talks about the experience prior to the game and mentions that Weller was the first person he called once he found out he made the squad:
