SYRACUSE — Syracuse University football coach Doug Marrone announced the hirings of quarterbacks coach Nathaniel Hackett and running backs coach Roger Harriot on Friday.
Marrone also stated he would serve as offensive coordinator and handle offensive play-calling for the 2010 season.
Hackett has been coaching for seven years, including four at the NFL level. Most recently, he was the offensive quality control coach for the Buffalo Bills.
Harriott joins the Orange after serving as the director of athletics and head coach at University School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. In four years, he led the team to a 35-10 record.
