ADAMS — Calling hours for Nicholas G. Larkin will be Tuesday, February 2nd from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville. Graveside services will be in the spring in Adams Rural Cemetery.

Mr. Larkin, 65, of Liberty St., Adams, died Friday evening at his home under the care of his family and Hospice of Jefferson County.

He is survived by his wife, Linda. Two daughters and their husbands, Lori Lynn and Andrew Creighton, Champion; Tina Marie and Benjamin Moore, Adams. A son and his wife, Jamie A. and Vickie Larkin, Conover, NC. Eight grandchildren and one great grandson. Two half brothers, James Dack and Timothy predeceased him.

He was born on Liberty St., Adams, June 14, 1944, a son of Claude Dack and Betty Jane Larkin. He was educated at Adams High School. He married Linda Liscomb December 25th, 1965.

Mr. Larkin was a yardman for Dobbin's Auto Parts for 30 years. He worked for Eiss brothers for six months and OD Greene's in Adams for 13 years. He most recently worked on the Donald Holman farm until becoming ill.

Mr. Larkin was a race car fan and attended races at the Watertown Fairgrounds and Can-Am Speedway for over 45 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
