Marion D. Lalonde

FORT EDWARD — Marion Denno Lalonde, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at the Fort Hudson Nursing Home.

Marion spent her youth in Malone, was a 55 year resident of Newton Falls, a 10 year resident of Queensbury and currently a two year resident of Fort Hudson.

Marion was born on Feb. 3, 1922, in Tupper Lake, N.Y., she was the daughter of Ralph & Leona Denno Sr.

Marion married Marcel Lalonde on Oct. 10, 1942.

Marion was predeceased by her brother, Ralph Denno and sister Daisy Cote.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Marcel Lalonde; her son, Wayne Lalonde and his wife, Jeanne, of Queensbury; her daughter, Barbara Schuchart and her husband, Victor, of California; her daughter, Debbie Root and her husband, Dennis, of Schroon Lake; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held at Regan and Denny Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Road, Queensbury, N.Y.

A spring burial will be held at St. Hubert Cemetery, Star Lake, N.Y.
