SLU registers basketball sweep of Clarkson

CANTON — Garrett Sharlow scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the St. Lawrence University men's basketball team to a 67-62 win over rival Clarkson University in a Liberty League game Tuesday night.

Josh Sharlow added 10 points for the Saints (10-9 overall, 6-2 conference). Keith Murray scored 16 points and Felix Llanos added 13 for the Golden Knights (10-8, 4-4).

■ Iris Santoni led the St. Lawrence University women's basketball team with 19 points in a 72-60 Liberty League win over Clarkson in Canton. Casey Capello scored 13 points and Abby Stanton added 11 for SLU (12-6, 4-4). Laura Pluchino scored 20 for the Golden Knights (4-14, 1-7).
