GOUVERNEUR — Sara E. Benware, Cohoes, daughter of Mary E. Benware, Gouverneur, and the late Robert L. Benware, and Dominick Pinti, Cohoes, son Carol and Dominic Pinti, Franklin Square, Long Island, were married at 5 p.m. Aug. 29, at Century House, Latham, with justice Frank Mauriello officiating.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Todd Benware, Durham, N.C.

Gina Fortino, Syracuse, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tracee Shelley, Trina Bauer and Susie Szeluga, all of Syracuse, and Roseanne Pachilakis, Franklin Square, sister of the bridegroom. Junior bridesmaid was Haley Kastler, Cohoes, daughter of the bride, and flower girl was Elise Benware, Durham, N.C., niece of the bride.

Billy Pachilakis, Franklin Square, was his brother-in-law's best man. Groomsmen were Dan Seiffert, Colonie, Brian Gatz, Cohoes, Dennis Kaney, Long Island and Pete Zontanos, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Ring bearers were Ethan Benware, Durham, N.C., nephew of the bride, and James Pachilakis, Franklin Square, nephew of the groom.

A reception followed at Century House. The couple honeymooned at the Sandals Resort, Jamaica.

Mrs. Pinti is a graduate of Gouverneur Central School, attended Albany College of Pharmacy, and graduated from Onondaga Community College, Syracuse. She is a retail sales representative with Verizon Wireless, Clifton Park.

Mr. Pinti graduated from H. Frank Carey High School, Franklin Square, and SUNY Tech, Utica. He is a design/performance engineer with Verizon Wireless, North Greenbush.

The couple resides in Cohoes.
