COLTON — Funeral services for Betty F. Watson, 83, 8 Spring Street, Colton, will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton with Rev. Lee Sweeney presiding. A spring burial will be held in Pleasant Mound Cemetery, Colton.

Friends may call at the Buck Funeral Home in Colton on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Mrs. Watson passed away Wednesday morning.

Betty is survived by a son, William, Colton; three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Elizabeth) Stanley, Shelbyville, Ill., Mrs. Gilbert (Calista) Sochia, Hopkinton and Mrs. Roy (Deborah) Graves, Pierrepont; and eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Born on April 24, 1926 to the late William J. and Calista Adams Fyffe, she married Wilbur L. Watson. Wilbur passed away in July of 1957. She worked as a house cleaner for various business and homes in the Colton area, retiring from the Diocese of Ogdensburg. Betty enjoyed her puzzles and making to-do lists for her family whom she loved to spend time with.

Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley. The family would like to send a special Thank-you to Hospice and to Caregivers, for all their help and support.
