The following were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:
■ Jeremy M. Safford, 24, of 1178 County Route 24, Malone, also was charged at 3:19 a.m. Saturday with speeding and having an uninspected vehicle, state police said. His blood alcohol content was 0.17 percent when his vehicle was stopped on Franklin Street outside the Malone village limits, troopers said. State law establishes 0.08 percent BAC as the threshold for intoxication.
■ Antonio Valentin III, 20, of 49 W. Main St., Building A, Apt. 19, Canton, also was charged Friday with failure to keep right when he was stopped on West Main Street, Canton village police said. He registered a 0.16 percent BAC, police said.
■ Debra A. Randall, 45, South Colton, was charged Friday night by state police when her vehicle was stopped on Route 56, Colton, for a broken brake light. Troopers said her BAC was 0.13 percent.
■ Gilbert A. Adams, 69, 8884 Long Pond Road, Croghan, also was charged by Lewis County sheriff's deputies failure to keep right around 11:45 p.m. Friday on Middle Branch Road in the town of Diana. Police said his BAC was 0.08 percent.
