Police: teen made threat
to another via Web site
MASSENA — A 14-year-old Hogansburg boy was charged Saturday with second-degree aggravated harassment for allegedly issuing a death threat to a 13-year-old, state police said.
Troopers allege the teen made the threat Feb. 2 via a social networking Web site. He was issued an appearance ticket for St. Lawrence County Family Court.
Shoplifting charge lodged
MASSENA — Kerry A. Watkins, 23, Massena, was charged Saturday by state police with petit larceny for allegedly attempting to steal $166.87 worth of merchandise from Hannaford, 6300 St. Lawrence Centre. She was released on an appearance ticket.
Woman, partygoers cited
with underage drinking
A Watertown woman was arrested Saturday morning after allegedly allowing several underage people to drink alcoholic beverages at a party at her residence.
Watertown police charged Brenda L. Delgado, 34, of 508 New York Ave., Upper Apt., with endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree unlawful dealing with a child at her residence at 2:20 a.m. Saturday. Police said she allowed several youths, including her daughter's 15-year-old friend, to drink beer.
She was processed at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and released on an appearance ticket for Watertown City Court.
The following were charged with unlawful possession of alcohol at the party: Lisha M. Skeldon, 17, of 1526 Washington St., Apt. 2; Kristina M. Finney, 17, of 223 Flower Ave. E., Upper Apt.; Brandon M. Conway, 18, of 44 Maywood Terrace; Kenna R. Williams, 17, of 537 Pearl St.; Dylan J. Webb, 18, of 232 W. Main St., Upper Apt.; Garry D. Ritter Jr., 20, of 1010 Huntington St.; Adam J. Sampson, 18, of 119 Commercial St., Apt. 2, Theresa, and Travis J. Schumacher, 20, of 125 Bridge St., Theresa.
Police charge two drivers
over alleged chase in city
A Watertown couple was arrested early Sunday after an alleged car chase on State Street.
Watertown police charged motorists Michael J.P. Moyer, 27, of 533 Olive St., Apt. 2, and his girlfriend, Precious C. Atkinson, 21, of 535 Olive St., with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and reckless driving at 2:40 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of High Street.
Mr. Moyer also was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment
Police said Mr. Moyer chased Ms. Atkinson on State Street, where there were several pedestrians and vehicles, and drove into the back of her car while she was trying to make a left-hand turn onto High Street.
Mr. Moyer was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending a court hearing Sunday.
Ms. Atkinson was processed at the PSB and released Sunday. She is to appear in Watertown City Court.
Snowmobiler is charged
over accident in January
TURIN — Lewis County sheriff's deputies charged Fraser P. Duffy, 17, Jamesville, on Saturday with leaving the scene of a personal-injury snowmobile accident, reckless operation and failure to provide proof of insurance in connection with a Jan. 30 snowmobile accident in front of Snow Ridge Ski Resort.
Police said the teenager lost control of his snowmobile, which struck a parked vehicle owned by Jacob Worden, Rome, on West Road in the town of Turin.
Mr. Duffy's mother, Robin R., 37, who was a passenger on the snowmobile, suffered a leg injury and was taken by Turin Ambulance to Lewis County General Hospital, Lowville.
Mr. Duffy is to appear in Turin Town Court.
LaFargeville man injured
when pickup strikes truck
A LaFargeville man was flown to Crouse Hospital, Syracuse, with a broken pelvis and other non-life-threatening injuries after he drove into a FedEx truck Saturday afternoon, according to state police.
Troopers said a pickup truck driven by Paul A. Dellapepa, 49, of 18846 Tubolino Road, struck a delivery truck parked on the side of Military Road in the town of Hounsfield around 3 p.m. Saturday.
No further information was available from state police Sunday.
