Robert Ziek is named new Clarkson trustee

POTSDAM — Robert R. Ziek Jr. has been named to the Clarkson University board of trustees.

The president of ZSOURCE Limited, a consulting firm, Mr. Ziek also is vice president of innovation for Nehemiah Manufacturing.

After earning his bachelor's degree from Clarkson in 1978, Mr. Ziek was awarded his master of business administration from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio. He went on to work for Procter & Gamble and Drackett Co., a division of Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Prior to founding ZSOURCE, Mr. Ziek co-founded Changing Paradigms, a manufacturer and marketer of consumer products.

Mr. Ziek is chairman of the dean's leadership council for the Coulter School of Engineering at Clarkson and in 2008 was the recipient of the Golden Knight Award, the college's most prestigious honor for alumni.

Mr. Ziek will serve on the academic affairs and marketing committees.

He resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Marcy.
