Joseph and Sherry Engel, Massena, announce the engagement of their daughter, Darcy A. Engel, Massena, to Michael A. Bert, Carlisle, Pa.

Miss Engel is a 2007 graduate of the SUNY Buffalo, where she received dual bachelor's degrees in theater and studio art. She is head of properties for national and international touring Broadway musicals at Phoenix Entertainment, New York City.

Mr. Bert received a bachelor's degree in theater from Messiah College, Grantham, Pa., in 2006. He is head electrician for national and international touring Broadway musicals at Phoenix Entertainment.
