Betty E. Irwin

Betty E. Irwin, 79 of Massena died Sunday morning (March 7, 2010) at the St. Regis Nursing Home, Massena where she had resided since 2005.

Friends and family may be received at the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena Tuesday from 1:00 until the time of the funeral at 3:00 pm with Rev. Helen Beck officiating. Interment will in Skerry Cemetery, North Bangor.

Surviving Betty E. Irwin is a sister, Mrs. Frank ( Florence ) Hutt of Massena, two nephews and three step nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Hilda Thomas.

She was born in Massena March 31, 1930 the daughter of Mervyn and Ena (Ferris) Irwin. She attended nursing school in Albany to be a licensed practical nurse.

Miss Irwin was employed as a housekeeper for various private Massena homes most of her life.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena.
