Lisbon resident accused of causing car accident

OSWEGATCHIE — Neil E. Brothers, 46, of 545 Taylor Road, Lisbon, was charged by state police with second-degree reckless endangerment and third-degree criminal mischief at 1:35 a.m. Monday at 969 Middle Road after allegedly causing a minor car accident involving his niece.

About 10:44 p.m. Sunday on Middle Road, Mr. Brothers drove his car in front of one being driven by Ashley A. Brothers, 19, of 623 State St., Ogdensburg, troopers said.

Her car sustained damage to the rear passenger side, but there were no injuries, troopers said.

Mr. Brothers was arraigned in Morristown Town Court and sent to St. Lawrence county jail, Canton, on $3,000 bail or $6,000 bond.
