Make & Take closes

Make and Take Gourmet, 1222 Arsenal St., closed Monday. Alan W. and Jennifer L. Vail opened the kitchen, where customers made meals at the to freeze and cook at home later, in June 2008.

Mr. Vail said the economy and their other full-time jobs were the reasons for their decision.

“There’s too much on our plate right now,” he said.

The couple is optimistic that the kitchen in Stateway Plaza will not be closed for good. They have someone interested in buying the business.
