Big money and power taking over American government

When is our government going to understand how sick the American people are in watching each group fight with each other on who has more votes than the other one does? It seems like they totally forget whom they're supposed to be helping. All the money and time that have been thrown away on just arguing with each other could have paid for health care for everybody, not to mention the billions and billions that have been thrown away on two wars that no one is going to get anything from except dead and wounded Americans.

We talk about socialism and use the word as a scare tactic. Well, the way that things are starting to go like jobs, money and the basics that we all grew up with that are being taken away from us, we already seem to live in a socialistic state as it is — welfare, unemployment and the homeless. We have lost the right to stand up for what we believe. Everybody feels like our hands are tied behind our backs, and no one will listen to the little guy anymore. Of course we're patted on our heads and told good things are coming, but we all know that is short-lived.

We used to believe that someone's word was their bond, and a handshake meant something binding. Things sure aren't that way now. Everything has lost is meaning, and we are all sick and tired of hearing the same nonsense over and over. It really doesn't matter who is in the White House because it's a big puppet theater, and we are not the ones pulling the strings. It's big money and power that have taken over. It has always been there, but it's much bigger now than ever. It's all going to hit the fan, and it's not going to be from our own country that brings us down, and we all feel it's coming soon.
