POTSDAM —Adam Parker has been appointed the new men's soccer coach at SUNY Potsdam, the school announced Tuesday.

Parker will replace longtime Bears' coach Joe Vaadi, who left the team after 13 seasons.

Parker spent the past three years coaching at North Country Community College, and last season led the squad to its first Mountain Valley Conference title on the strength of an unbeaten (7-0-1) record.

He played soccer for four seasons at SUNY Fredonia, where he received All-SUNYAC and NCSAA all-region honors.
