Clarkson gets grant to develop engineering course

POTSDAM — Clarkson University has been given a $10,000 grant from Procter & Gamble to develop another engineering course.

The class, Engineering in Contemporary Society, will cover how engineering intersects with other disciplines, including math, other sciences and technology fields as well as the demands and challenges of the profession. It will be offered to first-year studentsfor the 2011-12 school year.
