Sarah N. Spano, Gary R. Fritz

The parents of Sarah N. Spano, Evans Mills, and Gary R. Fritz, also of Evans Mills, announce the couple's engagement.

Miss Spano, daughter of Dominic and Susan Spano, Watertown, is a 1997 graduate of Watertown High School. She received an associate's degree from Jefferson Community College in 1999 and is an assistant manager at a Kinney Drugs in Watertown.

Mr. Fritz, son of Edward and Judith Fritz, is a 1995 graduate of Watertown High School and a 1996 graduate of Baran Institute of Technology, Connecticut. He is a maintenance technician at United Realty Management Corp., Watertown.

An Oct. 23 wedding is planned.
