CROGHAN — Justin John Hellinger, 27, of 7866 Soft Maple Road passed away on March 11, 2010, at 6 p.m. at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse.

He was born on December 9, 1982, in Carthage, a son of James A. Hellinger, Sr. and Angila P. Werley Hellinger and attended both Beaver River School and Lowville Academy.

Justin was a loving father of four children, Kendra and Devin Hellinger of Croghan, Sadie Hellinger of Watson and Devinna Cadorette of Watson who survive him.  He is also survived by his two brothers, James A. Hellinger, Jr. of Lowville and Parker L. Moyer of Turin; nieces and nephews Madison and Mara Hellinger and Olivia and Gavin Moyer of Lowville; cousin Shannon Hellinger; best friends Robbin Starr, Brian Mushtare, Dennis Barbarito, Dale Williams, Jamie and Janice Foote and many more loving family members in his life including aunts, uncles and cousins.

Justin was a self-employed handyman and carpenter. He loved traveling and had traveled to every State in the Union. He also enjoyed fishing, spending time with his children and life in general.

His family would like to thank Lewis County General Hospital, Lowville, and Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, for all the hard work that was administered to Justin.

Calling hours will be on Monday evening, March 15, 2010, from 5-8 p.m. at the Sundquist Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sundquist Funeral Home, with family friend, David Tuttle officiating. Spring burial will be in Lowville Rural Cemetery.
