Nellie C. Pate, 106, Lowville

LOWVILLE — Nellie C. Pate, 106, one of Lewis County’s oldest resident, died Saturday evening at the Lewis County Residential Health Care Facility where she has been a resident on the second floor since April of 2008.

A funeral mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Croghan, with the Rev. Daniel L. Chapin, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery.
