Police: woman violated

order to avoid teen boy

A woman arrested Thursday allegedly for having sex with a teenage boy while a 12-year-old was asleep in the same room was arrested again Saturday and charged with violating a court order against contact with the boy. Tammy L. Sprague, 31, of 140 High St., Apt 5, was arrested by Watertown police at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at her home and charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Police said she participated in a phone conversation between the boy and his sister earlier in the day at 1620 Huntington St.

Ms. Sprague was arraigned at 11 a.m. Sunday before Watertown Town Justice Andrew N. Capone. The outcome was not available Sunday.

She is charged with third-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the previous incident, which police say occurred between March 3 and 5 in a residence on the city's east side.

Two motorists accused

of driving while drunk

The following were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

■ Jason A. McMahon, 30, of 39 Pine St., Moira, was charged by state police at 2:40 a.m. Saturday on Houndsville Road, town of Malone. He is accused of having a blood alcohol content of 0.11 percent. State law establishes 0.08 percent BAC as the threshold for intoxication.

■ Patricia L. Point, 34, Akwesasne, Quebec, was charged by state police at 3:45 a.m. Sunday on Route 37 in Massena. Her BAC was 0.09 percent, troopers said.

Carthage man charged

with pushing a woman

OSWEGATCHIE — State police charged Randy P. Weller, 55, Carthage, with second-degree harassment at 4:35 p.m. Friday after he allegedly pushed a woman during an argument over money.

Police said Mr. Weller was arguing with April L. Hawkins at her home, 4448 County Route 6, because she would not give him money that her husband had agreed to pay Mr. Weller for a car.

Police: Watertown man

stole 4 tires from woman

Watertown police said Kyle J. Messina, 25, of 826 Arsenal St., turned himself in at 9:50 a.m. Friday at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building to be charged with petit larceny.

He is accused of stealing four vehicle tires worth $786 from Cristine S. Noftsier on Dec. 10 at 839 State St.

Boy, 14, arrested at mall

MASSENA — A 14-year-old boy was charged with third-degree criminal trespass at 7:30 p.m. Friday at St. Lawrence Centre mall, state police said. He was banned from the mall after getting in a fight there March 5, according to troopers.
