GardenShare seeks farms for 2010 local food guide

GardenShare is seeking farmers for inclusion in its 2010 local food guide.

The guide lists dozens of locations offering fresh vegetables, fruits, cheese, honey, maple products, meat and eggs.

To be eligible for a free listing in the guide, farmers must sell their own homegrown food directly to the public at a farm stand or other home-based business in the county.

Locally owned grocery stores and restaurants that showcase local food also are eligible for a listing.
