POTSDAM — Sean McAuliffe scored four goals to lead the SUNY Potsdam men's lacrosse team to a 20-4 rout of Cazenovia College in a nonconference game Wednesday.
Garrett Sharp added three goals for the Bears (2-1 overall). Kevin Green, Ben McCullough and Jordan Joncas each scored twice.
Ryan Pratt, Ryan Paparella, Mike Faltisco, Robbie Ashlaw, Kyle Phelix, David Blackburn and Corey Turner added solo goals for the Bears.
Pat Sauers scored three goals to pace Cazenovia (0-3).

Steve Dachille scored four goals to lead Connecticut College (3-0) past the Golden Knights in a nonconference game in Potsdam.
Mark Mangano, Eric Doran and Ryan Hayes each added two goals for Connecticut College. Tyler Long paced Clarkson (0-4) with three goals and one assist. Matt Cyr, Eric Gollands and Matt McCabe also scored for Clarkson.
BASKETBALL
SHARLOW SLATED FOR GAME
St. Lawrence University senior Josh Sharlow, a Norwood native, has been chosen to play in the first ever National Association of Basketball Coaches Division III All-Star Game.
The game will be played during the 2010 NCAA Division III championships at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 20 at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va.
Sharlow will play for the East, which will be coached by Hanover's Mike Beitzel.
LAFAVE HONORED
SUNY Canton women's player Shannon LaFave, an Ogdensburg native, has been named a Division II honorable mention All-American by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
She was the Sunrise Conference Player of the Year and a first-team, all-conference selection. She averaged 15 points and 6.5 rebounds.

WOOLSTON HEADED FOR NCAA'S
St. Lawrence University captain Chris Woolston is competing at the NCAA Division III championship meet in Minneapolis, which started Wednesday and runs through Saturday.
Woolston will compete in the 200-yard backstroke and the 200-yard freestyle.
