Patricia B. Duffy, Carthage, daughter of Edward and Jean Duffy, Sarasota, Fla., was married to Col. John P. Constable, Carthage, son of Marian B., Watertown, and the late John P. Constable, at 3 p.m. Dec. 27 at Emmanuel Congregational Church with the Rev. Ronald Farr officiating.
The bride was given in marriage by her son, Christopher Grosse, a student at Trinity College, Hartford, Conn.
Kara Grosse, a student at the University of Colorado, Boulder, was her daughter's maid of honor.
Several friends of the groom stood up for him.
A reception was held at their home in Carthage. They plan to take an Alaskan cruise in the fall as their wedding trip.
Mrs. Constable received a bachelor's degree and master's degree in education from the University of Massachusetts. She is employed by Carthage Central School District.
Mr. Constable graduated from Cornell University, Ithaca, with a bachelor's degree in business management and a master's degree in business administration. He has served in Korea, Europe and the Middle East as a military officer and is currently employed by several defense contractors supporting the Department of State.
