Melody A. Monroe, 60, Pillar Point

PILLAR POINT — Melody A. Monroe, 60, of Pillar Point, wife of David A. Monroe, passed away Friday morning at the Samaritan Medical Center.

The funeral will be Monday 10 a.m. at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Murray, pastor of Holy Family Church officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday from 6 pm – 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Pillar Point Volunteer Fire Department or to Hospice of Jefferson County.
