Fort Drum soldier killed in Iraq

A Fort Drum soldier was killed by a rocket-propelled grenade Thursday while serving guard tower duty in Iraq.
Spc. Robert Rieckhoff, 26, joined the Army Reserves in 2002 after graduating high school and was later assigned to Fort Drum, the Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel reported on its Web site Saturday.
The Department of Defense has not released any further information about Mr. Rieckhoff or the circumstances surrounding his death.
