Blaze confined to porch

of Lyons Falls residence

LYONS FALLS — Flames were confined Friday afternoon to a porch at the Denise Clark residence, 4005 Center St.

Lyons Falls firefighters responded to an alarm at 3:12 p.m., and were assisted by units from Port Leyden and Turin. The blaze was believed caused by a discarded cigarette, according to Lewis County Emergency Management. No injuries were reported.

Man accused of shouting

on street in Watertown

Gary S. Dusharm, 39, of 642 Emerson St., was charged with disorderly conduct late Thursday near his home.

Watertown police said that shortly before midnight, he was shouting on the street, trying to wake up neighbors.

Watertown teen facing

criminal-mischief count

Tyree D. Gary, 18 , of 22532 Echo Drive, was charged early Wednesday by Watertown police with fourth-degree criminal mischief following a disturbance at 542 Factory St.

He is accused of damaging the door frame at the apartment of Nikita C. Sweeney shortly after midnight, police said. He awaits prosecution in City Court.

Watertown man accused

of trespassing at store

Andrew G. Corbett Jr., 22, of 1104 Franklin St., was charged with trespassing Thursday afternoon in the parking lot at Home Depot, 391 College Heights.

Watertown police said he ignored repeated warnings that he is not wanted on store property.
